Karen Chase’s career history has always included a musical theme. She has worked as a music therapist, church musician, Head of the Music Department at the Ethel Walker School (CT), and as music teacher and Dean of Students at Foscroft School in Middleburg. Since 1998 she has been the K-8 music teacher at the Hill School in Middleburg and at Middleburg United Methodist Chruch as organist, pianist, and Director of Music. She has been certified in the Orff music curriculum through Level Two. She received a Bachelor of Music at Westminster Choir College in NJ.
